How many nails does a nail gun hold?
The average nail gun can hold two full strips of nails, which typically works out at around 80 nails. They are held together with strong paper tape, which means it’s much safer when working in tight corners, and also leaves much less mess behind. You can get nail guns that hold a greater capacity of nails, but this will make the gun heavier to wield.
How does a fuel cell nail gun work?
Nail guns powered by fuel cells have a replaceable fuel canister that contains combustible gas. As the nail gun’s trigger is pulled, the battery sends a charge to the gas canister, and a small amount of the gas is released. The battery’s electric charge sparks, which ignites the gas causing a very small explosion. This in turn drives a piston which forces the nail out and into the material you are working with.
How long does a fuel cell nail gun last for?
Fuel cell nail guns are powered by combustion. Designed to mimic the function of a pneumatic nail gun, fuel cells are powerful and can last for 1,000 rounds each. 1,000 nails will go a long way in a heavy-duty project, making it a great option for projects that require hundreds of nails at a time.
